To shop from our site, you must be a registered member of Tezgah. Membership is free of charge. All you need to do is fill in the required fields on the Create an Account pages.
General Matters Regarding Shopping
You may shop at our site by credit card (Visa, MasterCard), EFT or bank transfer/money order. Tezgah is not responsible for the supply of all ordered items. In the order follow-up process, the price of books that are not found in stock will be deducted from the total sum, and the rest are sent to the address of the receiver. If the receiver has chosen to pay by bank transfer/money order, the payment already made for unfound books is returned by money order to the receiver.
Invoicing
Our prices include VAT. The invoice is prepared using the information provided for the shopping transaction. If a company invoice is required, please send us the company name along with the tax office/department and tax registration number information by e-mail. The invoice address and the delivery address must be the same for security reasons.
Method of Payment
Payment may be made by credit card or by bank transfer/money order. In the event of a problem please use the e-mail address you have stated to contact us. When you want to contact us regarding your order, please state your membership name, e-mail address, cart number and shopping transaction date.
Shipment Fee:
There is no shipment fee for orders of 75,00 YTL and over.
For domestic orders of 75,00 YTL and over, a shipment fee of 6,00 YTL is charged.
For international orders the shipment fee is determined by the weight of the package and the country the package is being sent to. The calculated shipment fee will be shown on the shopping page before the approval of the payment transaction.
How to Place an Order
First, you must become a member of the site.
To become a member, click on the ‘my account’ button at the top of the page, and enter your e-mail address and your password. Tezgah will recognize you in all your future entries to the site. Secondly, you may start shopping by clicking the ‘add to the cart’ button on the right lower corner of the books you would like to buy.
Thirdly, you may enter the number of books you want in the ‘quantity’ field on the page that appears, or may leave your order to your next entry by entering 0 (nil) in the quantity field, and see the amount you will pay for your order including the shipment fee. The shipment fee for international orders may also be calculated here.
In the fourth stage, you can check your address and invoice information. If you would like to make changes to your invoice and address information, click on the ‘Change Your Address’ button to make the changes. Enter the required information on the payment pages where a 128 Bit SSL security password is operating and go onto the next stage. You may find all the necessary information at the top of the stage and on the page.
With credit card payments, to ensure the orders reach the end user, the contact information of the card owners must be updated both on the bank’s system and on tezgah.com.tr system. If this information is not updated, the card owner cannot be contacted and the order is cancelled. Therefore, card owners must update their contact information both on the bank’s system and on tezgah’s system. This is required to ensure the security of credit card owners and to prevent lengthy legal processes that may be triggered due to inconsistencies.
If you prefer to pay by bank transfer/money order or EFT, after you have chosen the bank where you will place the money order, or, if you have chosen Garanti Bankasi, then after you have selected the EFT option, you must state your bank number and your branch so we can send you the payment for unfound items to your account. If you have chosen to pay by money order, please do not forget to enter the name of the person who is carrying out the transaction, the cart number and your Tezgah customer number in the Comments field of the money order form.
Order Follow-up:
To see the products on your order list (your shopping list) click on the "My Shopping-Cart" button on the right upper corner of each page. The details of your order shall appear on the screen.
Delivery time:
Placed orders are dispatched after the payment has been realized. If the payment is made before 14:00 Turkish Time on the day the order is placed, the order is dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after 14:00 are dispatched the following workday before noon.
The estimated shipment duration following payment for the whole of Turkey is 2-5 workdays by courier or 2-7 workdays by post.
Books not in stock are removed from lists. However, one or more books on your order list may go out of stock while you order.
In the event that some products on order lists are not in stock and cannot be traced in the stock of publishing houses, you will be informed of the situation by telephone, fax or e-mail, and the sum cost of items that cannot be traced will be deducted from your transaction total and returned to your account, to your credit card, by EFT or money order, depending on your payment method.
Domestic Order
Orders within Turkey are delivered to your address by private courier companies. Shipment is made by registered post to addresses not served by courier companies.
International orders
You may find out the delivery cost of your books to a foreign address from our site. International postal fees are calculated based on the country of destination and the weight of the order.
At tezgah.com.tr all transactions are in YTL, however you may find out the price of a product in American Dollars or Euro, based on the Central Bank of Turkey’s currency purchase rate. This service is provided only for information purposes. The amount to be withdrawn in credit card payments is calculated based on the currency and commission rates agreed upon by our bank and yours (Visa or Mastercard) by converting your currency into YTL.
Since payments are calculated in YTL, when you make a payment through money order or EFT, you must calculate the amount based on the Currency Purchase Rate of the Central Bank of Turkey.
At Tezgah.com.tr, VAT (Value Added Tax) is included in all product prices. All matters that may arise from customs checks of items you order from our site must be settled by the person who has placed the order and the institutions of the country in question. Customs tax, VAT, transaction costs belong to the person who has placed the order.
Tezgah.com.tr acts in accordance with the laws of the Turkish Republic. However, the person who places the order must take into account the problems that may arise due to the content of any product in view of the laws of any other country or the regulations of any other country. The customer is entirely responsible for all problems that may arise from such matters.
